Gourmande

I love to eat. I love to cook. I eat therefore I cook. For me, the whole pleasure of cooking lies in the fact that I get to stuff my mouth afterwards.

As my cooking guru Nigella Lawson says taste in food is one of the few things people cannot lie about. You like to eat what you like to eat.–

Unlike Nigella I have no talent for following recipes. I tend to start off with an inspiration and then just run with it. I once made purple soup.  Still, I prefer to err on the side of experimentation rather than sticking to the rules because every now and then I concoct something really good and it’s worth every bowl of purple soup.

Pancakes sprinkled with blueberries, honey, with a side of sliced bananas. I love big breakfasts.
