We are all ready for a switch. We’ve moved the clock one hour ahead, we’ve celebrated the official start of Spring but it’s still raining and grey which makes it difficult to have that sprightly look on. Here are few to help you stretch that smile wider.

Spring Awakening Playlist:

Splish Splash by Bobby Darin >>>  Won’t you feel silly?  Yes, but go with it. Soon, it won’t matter. You’ll just enjoy.

Revolución or anything else by Amaral >>> This band rocks from Spain but you won’t need dictionary. Just move!

Je veux te voir from the French provocatrice Yelle  >>> When you feel too tired to go to gym or running, put this one on. But don’t sing unless you’re comfortable with colorful language

My Generation: The Very Best of the Who >>> if you’re falling asleep in the middle of the day.  And if you really really like The Who, then read this incredible ode from the New Yorker to the iconoclast drummer.

If you have a headache and feeling a slump >>> try Be Ok by Ingrid Michaelson

Ready to dump your to-do list, up for some chillin’ time >>>  you have to go the John Legend way Slow Dance

When I was at the university, the dorms had some rooms designed for quiet study, which sounded like a good idea. But after 2 hours sitting in a small brightly-painted room with 7 other stressed out people studying for mid-terms, you absolutely needed a dance party. Or so I decided. And it was cool because they agreed. Dance- breaks became a regular thing.

Dance-breaks are my alternative to junking on coffee or  freaking out. As Ricky Martin might singbailando todo se arregla.” And he knows a lot about dancing :)

Dancing solves it all.
