Good morning Champions,
Cheers to doing breakfast with Style. I cannot think of a more productive thing to do in the morning than to delight and fortify myself with a large breakfast. And not the usual toast and coffee, either. I really believe in going in for the big chunk. At the very least I have fruit, some type of cereal (oatmeal, cold cereals, muffins, etc), and some kind of milk product. If I’m feeling like it’ll be an especially long day then I have some ham on the side. My favorite ham is Serrano. Ahh, the most delicious!

But, in the event that I’m too lazy to make breakfast, even with these scrumptious treats waiting, I leave half an hour early.
Le Pain Quotidien is becoming one of my favorite places to eat breakfast out in the middle of the week. Although it’s a chain, the details in decor makes it feel as though it were one of a kind. The people are certainly one of a kind so that’s always great. They also have the most amazing organic muffin which includes bits of fig, wheat and various seeds. Great on the tastebuds and bowels. Ha!
I love the beige all over that makes every speck of sunlight ricochet around the room, making the place bright and welcoming. Maybe it was my subconscious who wanted to match the decor.
I am wearing a beige Zara cotton jacket that turns any outfit into elegance. It is still warm enough today to wear sandals so let’s indulge a few more days before Fall rolls into town. My favorite “goes-with-everything” orange T-shirt falls over grey Forever 21 jeans.
I’m loving this little Stradivarius watch lately. I’ve actually never worn watches to tell time. As Blanche says in the electric melodrama A Streetcar Named Desire, ” I have always depended on the kindness of strangers.” And then I got a cell phone. So what was the point of a watch? But now, I find them quite useful because sometimes I like to, casually, forget my phone. Every now and then I like to be totally present and centered. Like when I’m having breakfast!
Cheers to another wondrous morning!

What do I think? I think this is a gorgeous blog, one of those that would have turned me obsessed two years ago when I discovered the blogsphere.
I’m also a big fan of large large breakfast. Surely you know the spanish breakfast (most common in Andalucía) which is orange juice, coffee, and something quite similar to a toast, but in french bread, with fresh tomato, oil and serrano ham (much better if it’s pata negra!).
Love the mood in these pics (beside your easy and elegant style), the whole text, how calm and nice it is to read your posts. congratulations dear!
