See, when you forgive your imperfections
And you’ve auctioned all your clothes
And look to see your true reflection
You will be the one who loves you the most
You will be the one who loves you the most
You will be the one who loves you the most – Brett Dennen
And the nerdster comes out. I feel like the nerdiness in me is spreading, over flowing. I’m having a laid back kind of day.

Coffee shop.
Cakes and malt shakes.
Do you remember?
Daydreaming of Portland.
Painted faces, naked graces.
Love at first sight in the parking lot after Mark’s house party.
It’s two a.m. Where are we all going?
Where is my ride? Where is your car?
I didn’t get lost. I just casually strayed.
And now I can’t find the way back
but isn’t forgetting a freedom
The weight of the past gone
The future weightless ready to lift you up
Who knows where we’ll go
Who knows maybe I’ll see you again
Maybe up there in the steeple
Ring your own
Ring your own bell as you march up
Forget the drummer
Ring your bell

I worked very late in the office until 12 am so I am taking this cool morning off. Listening to Brett Dennen and John Legend. Reading The Bluest Eye and giving Murakami a second shot.
One of the best thing about Fall are those perfect days when it’s cool but surprise – a bright sunshine smiles down on us! We are in full-transitional mode in Washington, DC. Cool breath hissing at my throat in the morning and beads of sweat down my forehead in the afternoon. This is the glorious time when the sexy cardi triumphs. This cardigan is a Zara weave thrown over a light turquoise tank top from H&M. I only own two pairs of jeans and this is the only pair I like {Forever 21, same for what the bikini belt}. It has been assiduously gracious with me. It has adjusted to every recess of my hips and legs. A fit like a second skin. The shoes are Camper’s contribution to human comfort. Urban Outfitters surprises sometimes with good quality, affordable bags like this brown slouch. It’ll carry everything you want, from lunch to ipad. The scarf is from Meeps Vintage Fashionette in Adams Morgan. Love the name!
Getting some vitamin D before I have to back in. Happy Thursday to Everyone!

LOVE these colors on you. That cardigan is awesome. Also those pants do look great on you. I’m one of those ’2 pairs of jeans people’ too. (3 now since I just bought a pair of bright red ones as well) because once I found that ‘perfect’ pair jeans they always win out over every other pair of pants in my closet.

There is a lesson to be learned in this peace. One does not have to have a closet full of clothes, but only the ones that fit well, comfortable, and usable.
